Friends poured encomiums as the Past National Welfare Secretary of NBA, Adesina Adegbite (AA) submitted his Nomination Form at the Secretariat of the Electoral Committee of the Nigerian Bar Association (ECNBA). AA on the 14th of April 2022 submitted a filled copy of the Nomination Form for the office of the General Secretary of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA).
Adegbite Adesina (AA) was accompanied by friends, allies, colleagues and associates as he proceeded to the Secretariat of the Electoral Committee of the Nigerian Bar Association (ECNBA) located at the First Floor of Abuja Chambers of Commerce and Industry.
While speaking shortly after the submission, Adegbite Adesina (AA) stated that “…what we have come to do here is quite symbolic. It is equivalent to an official declaration of interest. By submitting the nomination form today, we have officially notified the ECNBA, members of our great Association and the whole world that I, ADESINA ADEGBITE, popularly known as AA have intention to contest for the office of General Secretary of the Nigerian Bar Association. Consequent upon this declaration, I hereby seek the support and prayers of all members on this very important project. It is my solemn appeal to the ECNBA and all participants in the forthcoming NBA Election that we redeem the image of NBA, especially as it relates to our election through this 2022 Elections. It is my hope that this year’s election will be an exemplary model for subsequent NBA elections and even that of other professional associations and indeed Nigeria’s general elections. I appreciate all my friends who made it here and those who followed up with calls and messages to ensure we submitted today. We have done the needful, we can only await further directive from the ECNBA. May God bless you all richly”
Adegbite Adesina (AA) appreciated and thanked his friends, supporters, colleagues and associates that were physically present, those virtually present and a host of others that were monitoring the submission exercise, for their unalloyed support, love and believe in him. He promised to make them proud and enjoined them not to be wary in their belief in oneness of the NBA. He specially appreciated the Chairman of NBA Bwari Branch, Monday Adjeh Esq who dedicated a whole day to the submission exercise the previous day.

(Past YLF Chairman, NBA Abuja Branch); David Bege, Esq (Chairman, NBA-YLF Abuja); Oluwatosin Emmanuel, Esq (Publicity Secretary, NBA-YLF Abuja), Chinwe Rita Nwele and host of others. Many of the friends who accompanied AA had very kind words to say about him. The entire party were in agreement that AA is a good man that deserves all the support and encouragement towards his aspiration.
