Adejorin David Abiona has formally declared his intention to serve as the Secretary of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Ibadan Branch, following the submission of his nomination form on 30th March 2026. With this step, he becomes the first aspirant to pick up and submit a nomination form in the ongoing NBA Ibadan electoral process. Adejorin is nominated for the position by a former Secretary of the Branch, Mr. Yusuff Raimi and his nomination is seconded by the immediate past Secretary of the Branch, Mr. Olakunle Akintola.

Adejorin D. Abiona is known to have experience with administrative and secretariat duties as he previously served as the Secretary of the NBA-Young Lawyers Forum, Ibadan Branch (2018-2020) and later served as the Assistant Secretary of NBA, Ibadan Branch from 2020-2022.
