63rd Founders’ Day Anniversary and Global Reunion Festival Announced by CAC Grammar School Efon Alaaye Alumni Association

In a press conference held today, Dr. Adekunle Ojo, SAN, President General of the Christ Apostolic Church Grammar School Efon Alaaye Alumni Association, unveiled the details of the upcoming 63rd Founders’ Day Anniversary and Global Reunion Festival. The event is set to take place from November 15th to November 18th, 2023, at the school compound in Efon Alaaye, Ekiti State.

The theme of this grand celebration is “Transforming CAPOSTO: The Boulevard Back to the Days of Distinctions.” This historic occasion aims to bring together alumni, well-wishers, and the community to commemorate the school’s rich history and to set a path for its future.

The schedule for the event is as follows:

  • November 15, 2023: A welcome party for all alumni.
  • November 16, 2023 (morning): A Career Talk addressing topics such as adapting to the digital world, entrepreneurship, and pursuing ambitious dreams.
  • November 16, 2023 (evening): A Novelty Match between the Old War Horses and the CAPOSTO Generation Next.
  • November 17, 2023: The commissioning of a significant 2023 project, and the inauguration of the rehabilitated school library.
  • Also on November 17, the Global Reunion Festival will take place, with alumni from various years gathering for a day of celebration.
  • The evening of November 17 will feature a Reunion Gala Night at Emirate Hotels in Efon Alaaye.
  • On November 18, 2023, the 63rd Founders’ Day Thanksgiving will be held in the School’s Assembly Hall.

Throughout the event, daily prayers and open crusades will be conducted, with special ministering from distinguished alumni such as Prophet Hezekiah Oladeji and Evang. Dr. Bola Are.

Dr. Adekunle Ojo emphasized the objectives of the anniversary, including projecting the values and contributions of CAPOSTO, inspiring students, strengthening the school’s network, establishing international development opportunities, and securing recognition as a legacy institution in Ekiti.

He stressed the importance of education in fighting poverty, calling for a reevaluation of the educational system in Africa to equip students with the skills and knowledge needed for the nation’s prosperity.

Dr. Adekunle Ojo concluded by seeking support for the Anniversary and Global Reunion, emphasizing the vital role of education in empowering individuals and nations to overcome poverty and achieve prosperity.
