62 Nigerians claim missing manhood, 51 suspects arrested

In a startling revelation, the Federal Capital Territory Police Command has disclosed that a staggering 62 cases of alleged disappearing manhood have been reported across the region.

FCT Police Commissioner, Haruna Garba, disclosed this alarming development while addressing reporters at the command’s headquarters on Friday.

Of these 62 cases, 51 suspects have already been apprehended and charged with offences related to misinformation and causing public disturbances within the FCT.

It was revealed that these suspects wrongly accused others of orchestrating the vanishing of their manhood, leading to vigilante actions against the alleged culprits.

The Commissioner of Police called upon the territory’s residents to collaborate closely with law enforcement authorities in their collective endeavour to maintain a crime-free environment in the city.

Garba recounted, “The initial case of male organ disappearance was documented in Gwagwalada on September 21, 2023. Since then, it has spread throughout the FCT, with a total of 62 reported cases to date.

“Out of these, 51 suspects were charged with providing false information and inciting public disturbances.

“Consequently, I want to emphasise my unwavering commitment to work with you, the FCT residents, to eradicate all forms of crime within the Federal Capital Territory.”
